Day 2 – Elevation: Uphills – 12 Days of 5Ks
Run more than 500 ft / 150 mts uphill in 5k
Today, for the second challenge, we want to invite you to train a trail essential: uphill running. That’s why the plan is to add another 5 kilometers, incorporating around 150 to 200 meters of positive elevation.
Meeting the distance and elevation requirement is crucial because we want you to possibly finish the run still feeling eager, not exhausted.
This approach has a reason: the enthusiasm to run sometimes leads to overdoing it, which can be a problem in the long run, especially if you’re just starting in this fantastic sport.
So, let’s go step by step, from less to more, because there are still several challenges ahead. Once you complete the 5 kilometers with around 150 to 200 meters of positive elevation, don’t forget to share your feelings and comments. Together, we move towards the next level.
