One of the elder European races, Transgrancanaria has over 20 years of trail running history being one of the pioneers of our sport.

A weekend festival with races for everyone, from young runners, to beginners, to experienced ultrarunners, running through the volcanic majesty of the Island of Gran Canaria. A unique traverse of the island that will drive you from the sea, up high to the mountains, back to the sand through forrests and the marvelous Roque Nublo.

Transgrancanaria is a Spartan Trail World Championship Event.

Prize Money

Important notes:

Prize money is expressed in US Dollars, but may be delivered in awarded athlete’s residence country legal currency, subject to the athlete’s residence country official exchange rate.
Prize money delivery may take up to 90 days after the race to allow checking if the awarded athlete is free from doping charges.
Prize money delivery may take from 90 to 120 days after the athlete submits his payment information to Spartan Trail’s admin POC.
Final Leaderboard prize money will be delivered after the final race of the Championship, and also, will take in count the three points above.

Event starts on Wednesday, February 22 and finishes on Sunday, February 26. We recommend arriving to Gran Canaria two days before the first start.
