We are happy to announce that in 2025, the Hungarian Spartan events will start in Börzsöny, which is justly popular among cross-country enthusiasts.

On February 8, in Királyrét, we are waiting for you at 8. a.m. with 21 km and then 12. p.m. with 10 km distances without obstacles, purely cross-country running.

We can already inform you that one of the most beautiful national parks in our country will be revealed to you on the 21 km course, touching Nagyhideghegy and Csóványos.

In addition to the competition experience, the diverse landscape offers plenty of hiking opportunities, as one of the country’s most wonderful panoramas opens up to you with the Danube Bend and the High Tatras to the north.

Event starts on Saturday, February 8 at 8 am. We recommend arriving at Vienna AU, Budapest HU airport or Bratislava SK airport.

Obavezna oprema

Each race distance has its own mandatory equipment. For detailed information and any updates, we suggest reading the corresponding rules at the race official website here under the section of the distance of your choice.

Cutoff Times

Attention: Cutoff Time is set up for each discipline. The maximum time limit is different for every discipline. After this time, you will be withdrawn from the course and your run will end. You will be reported in the result sheet as DNF (Do not finished). In this case, you are not entitled to a finisher t-shirt and medal.

– 10K cutoff time is 4 hrs.

– 21K cutoff time is 6 hrs.
